At Power Solutions of Robert Bosch GmbH, we are searching in the Business Unit Electrolyser Solutions for a (Senior) Expert for Political Affairs and Governmental Relations in the field of hydrogen policy with a focus on electrolysis , who is well connected in the EU political community. The position is based in Brussels with integration into the Corporate Governmental Affairs Team.

Your Tasks

  • Represent the Bosch Group in the field of hydrogen and specifically electrolyser related policy towards the EU institutions
  • Closely monitor and enforce European subsidy schemes and de-risking instruments for market activation in Europe at European and member state level and on a global scale
  • Follow discussions on relevant political and regulatory topics and keep close contacts within Bosch
  • Develop political positions of Robert Bosch GmbH on topics related to hydrogen and the electrolyser business
  • Communicate the political positions of Robert Bosch GmbH internally and externally
  • Represent Bosch in European associations and coalitions, at events and in internal and external committees
  • Engage in joint advocacy activities for the electrolyser business
  • Advise Bosch departments on political developments and give general support

Your profile

  • University degree and in-depth knowledge of hydrogen policy and related subsidy instruments
  • Demonstrable work experience in hydrogen policy
  • Understanding of EU decision-making processes
  • Very good communication and networking skills
  • Convincing, flexible and reliable team player with strong analytical skills and ready to take initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently on a tight deadline
  • Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
