  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly (cash, AR, AP, fixed assets, intercompany) and resolve variances.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close against the close calendar.
  • Maintain the general ledger and fixed asset register, including depreciation.

Review and Reporting

  • Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity for accuracy and proper coding.
  • Prepare financial schedules, account analyses, and variance explanations.

Audit, Tax, and Compliance

  • Assist with annual audits and tax filings by preparing supporting documentation.
  • Support sales and use tax, VAT, and other compliance filings as needed.
  • Ensure entries follow GAAP and company accounting policies and internal controls.

Process Improvement and Projects

  • Identify and help implement process improvements and automation.
  • Handle ad hoc analysis and projects for the Senior Accounting Manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and the full accounting cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with an ERP or accounting system (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Intermediate Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and formulas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet close deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a multi-entity or consumer products / manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory accounting and cost of goods sold.
  • Exposure to SOX or internal control documentation.
  • Experience with reporting or reconciliation tools (e.g., CloseCore, FloQast, Power BI).
