Water Treatment Account Manager

Here at Water Engineering Services, inc. we are looking for a self-sufficient, organized and ambitious Water Treatment Account Manager to join our team!

As an account manager, you will provide regular service to multiple accounts. Looking for candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments.

We are a private owned Water Treatment and Legionella Company focused on treating and servicing the NJ, DE and NYC metropolitan area. We are leaders in the industry for Legionella Compliance and regularly work with the DOH.

The Water Treatment Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and servicing existing and new accounts in NYC/NJ market. They will work closely with our customers to provide water treatment programs tailored to their specific needs.

Responsibilities

• Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
• Development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned territory.
• Promotion and sales of maintenance services to new and existing Water Engineering customers.
• Hands-on servicing of accounts which includes but is not limited to; chemical testing, calibration and repair of chemical feed-related equipment, visual inspections of systems, new installs etc.
• Schedule service and sales calls – includes daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Identify new business needs and opportunities, and develop and implement customized solutions for our customers

Duties

• Regular maintenance and service to accounts
• Standard testing of water systems with adjustments of chemicals as needed
• Checking in with customers and maintaining customer satisfaction and communication
• Completion of service reports
• Knowledge of accounts
• Regular maintenance and servicing of cooling towers, boilers, closed loops and softener systems
• Occasional cooling tower cleanings
• Installing controllers and piping in relation to water treatment system
• Occasional water sampling and legionella testing
• Domestic water sterilization

Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, environmental health and safety, and/or secondary disinfection is preferred.

• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skill.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with experience working on teams from multiple locations. • Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• MUST be Highly Motivated and a Self-Starter. • Perform physical work in an HVAC, cooling towers, or boiler equipment environment requiring exposure to chemicals, noise, hot & cold temperatures, and inclement weather
• MUST be in good physical ability – the job requires frequent walking to and from the worksite.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (DMV record will be checked)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
