Senior IT Product Manager (Hybrid)
Starting Salary Range: $125,000 - $145,000
The State Corporation Commissions (SCC) Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) division is hiring two Senior IT Product Managers to support SCC business objectives through enterprise program leadership and Agile-aligned, product-focused delivery.
Reporting to the Chief of Enterprise Portfolio and Programs and supporting the Chief Information Officer (CIO), these senior-level roles are responsible for directing large product teams, coordinating shared resources, and partnering closely with division leadership to deliver capabilities that advance the SCCs mission.
Examples of major initiatives supported by these roles include the SCCs enterprise cloud migration and building relocation activities associated with the Tyler Building renovation; executive-level oversight of the SCCs Artificial Intelligence Program; and coordination of financial system consolidation efforts with the Department of the Treasury, among other prioritized initiatives.
These positions typically work a hybrid schedule, consisting of three days in the office and two days working remotely each week and offer a variety of professional development opportunities.¿¿
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide senior program leadership for assigned product areas, overseeing planning, prioritization, execution, and cross-division coordination to meet SCC business objectives
Lead large product teams and shared resources by establishing clear priorities, managing capacity, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Serve as a senior liaison between product teams, business partners, ETS leadership, and executive stakeholders
Oversee development and prioritization of multi-team product and program backlogs to ensure work directly supports the SCCs strategic direction
Translate complex business requirements into actionable program plans, work sequences, user stories, milestones, and acceptance criteria
Guide Agile delivery activities by supporting sprint planning, backlog refinement, cross-team coordination, reviews, and retrospectives
Develop and maintain program roadmaps, release plans, dependency maps, risk registers, dashboards, and portfolio reporting artifacts
Track and report progress using the SCCs portfolio and Agile management tools; prepare briefings, presentations, and executive-level summaries
Coordinate resource planning, operational readiness, and business continuity considerations related to program delivery
Manage vendor engagements, procurement workflows, contract needs, and third-party relationships supporting program execution
Lead development and maintenance of SOPs, workflows, standards, and documentation supporting program governance and product operations
Champion the SCCs enterprise Agile transformation by promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and mature product-centric practices
Perform other related work as required
