Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Now recruiting on behalf of a growing accounting team in a large, Atlanta-based company for a Staff Accountant who will play key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting reporting activities, and contributing to a fast-paced environment.

Scope of the Staff Accountant position

Execute monthly accounting activities, including account analysis, reconciliations, and adjusting entries. Manage and monitor general ledger transactions to ensure completeness and accuracy. Assist with invoicing, vendor payments, and cross company transactions.

Support the preparation of financial reports and investigate fluctuations and trends. Provide documentation and support for internal and external review processes. Recommend and contribute to enhancements that improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall accounting operations.

The right candidate for this Staff Accountant role will have

Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting practices.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working within ERP or accounting software platforms. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting multiple business units or entities is preferred.
