Operations Manager, Night Shift

Overview

As an Operations Manager, Night Shift, you’ll lead overnight manufacturing operations, keeping machines running safely and efficiently. You’ll coordinate people, processes, and resources across warehouse operations. This role calls for hands-on leadership, clear communication, and sound decisions as priorities shift through the night.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop shift teams; set priorities, assign work, and communicate expectations across fabrication, machining and assembly functions.
• Develop and train operators on job duties (proper equipment operation, inspection, reporting, etc.).
• Program the equipment in the most efficient and productive way possible
• Specify and identify material needs based on components being manufactured
• Work with purchasing to order material and manage material inventory
• Maintain and operate equipment as necessary
• Directly oversee manufacturing capacity and efficiency report on progress
• Identify improvements for manufacturing of components
• Contribute to the specifications of The Company’s designs, features, benefits and overall product offerings
• Maintain machine inventory, tools, supplies, etc.
• Other tasks as necessary to support the business and personnel
• Be available to, and actively involved with the Company’s operations, quality, and sales teams to ensure the continued successful operation of the company and that the Company is consistently meeting (if not exceeding) the customers’ expectations

Skills

• Required: Supervising and team management experience, strong managerial communication, and experience in operations management.
• Preferred: Manufacturing supervisor experience and knowledge of Lean, process improvement, demand planning, production planning, procurement, and supply chain analytics.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
