Responsibilities

Architect & build AI Agent systems Work on backend development of TikTok's proprietary CRM platform Build enterprise-grade solutions serving millions of customers and supporting billions in revenue Build a globalized CRM System with high performance and availability across multiple regions Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Operations, Sales, and Data Science teams to utilize AI capabilities into measurable growth outcomes

Qualifications: Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline Hands-on experience with AI Agents and Multi-Agent workflows (e.g., autonomous task execution, agent collaboration) Deep familiarity with engineering patterns such as MCP (Model Context Protocol), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Code Embedding Experience with big data components including Spark, OLAP engines and Flink is a plus, but not required Familiarity with Elastic Search and key/value stores (Redis, Memcached etc) is a plus Familiarity with Message Queue (Kafka, RabbitMQ, RocketMQ etc) is a plus Familiarity with CRM platforms and Ad Sales automated processes is a plus Experience with Java is preferred Experience with Spring Boot and/or other Microservice frameworks is preferred Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres etc) is preferred

Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
