About this role

The Azure DevOps Platform Engineer is a member of the Infrastructure Cloud Services team supporting Mosaic’s Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise platforms. This role administers platform services, implements secure and reusable CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code standards, and helps teams adopt modern Azure development practices through templates, automation, documentation, and technical guidance.

What will you do?

  • Administer Azure DevOps projects, repositories, pipelines, agent pools, permissions, and lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain GitHub Enterprise organization, team, repository, branch protection, and pull request standards.
  • Develop reusable CI/CD, repository, and Infrastructure as Code templates.
  • Support team onboarding through standardized intake processes, checklists, and technical guidance.
  • Implement secure, governed Azure sandbox and non-production environments using automation and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Maintain approved Terraform, Bicep, and related deployment patterns.
  • Assist teams with adopting DevOps practices that meet security, governance, and change-management requirements.
  • Create technical documentation and ServiceNow knowledge articles.
  • Provide training, consultation, and support for Azure DevOps and GitHub users.
  • Monitor platform adoption, compliance, capacity, and improvement opportunities.

What do you need for this role?

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years of DevOps platform administration or engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps projects, repositories, permissions, and pipelines.
  • Working knowledge of GitHub Enterprise administration.
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, source control, branching, pull requests, approvals, and artifact management.
  • Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
