About this role
Our company

Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform activates enterprise intelligence by unifying data, knowledge and business context to achieve tangible outcomes. With Teradata, organizations can provide agents with full context for impact when it matters.
Our solution lets businesses connect and scale on premises, in the cloud, or through a hybrid approach. Teradata delivers real business value with AI.
What You’ll Do
As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex, high-impact programs across Teradata’s product portfolio. You will drive execution from strategy through launch, align engineering and product leaders around clear outcomes, and bring structure and momentum to work that spans teams, systems, and geographies.
- Lead planning and delivery for complex technical programs spanning multiple engineering teams and product areas.
- Build clear program plans, dependency maps, risk registers, milestones, and executive-level health metrics.
- Drive cross-functional decisions, resolve ambiguity, and keep teams aligned through focused operating rhythms and reviews.
- Translate technical complexity into concise updates, trade-offs, and recommendations for senior product and engineering leaders.
- Identify and escalate risks early, remove execution barriers, and lead retrospectives that improve how teams deliver.
- Coordinate end-to-end launch readiness across engineering, quality, documentation, support, security, and go-to-market teams.
- Use data to guide prioritization, evaluate alternatives, and help leaders make timely decisions.
- Apply AI tools and practices to improve program insight, team productivity, and execution effectiveness.
Who You’ll
Work With
You will be an embedded delivery partner within Teradata’s Product organization, working closely with teams across the United States, India, and other global locations.
- Product managers and Principal TPMs to connect roadmap commitments with executable delivery plans.
- Engineering leaders, architects, technical leads, and quality teams across Vantage, cloud services, and analytics products.
- Design, Technical Writing, Support, Security, and Marketing teams to deliver complete, launch-ready customer experiences.
- Finance and Talent Acquisition partners on program-level capacity, hiring, and onboarding needs.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- 8+ years of technical program management or related experience, including experience delivering enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, data platforms, or analytics products.
- Proven success leading large, multi-team programs from strategy through launch in a matrixed organization.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and of SaaS or data-platform delivery lifecycles.
- Ability to engage deeply with engineers and architects, understand system dependencies, and challenge assumptions without owning the technical design.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, drive decisions across organizational boundaries, and operate effectively amid ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including concise executive updates, clear risk framing, and effective meeting facilitation.
- Working knowledge of Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
- Practical understanding of how AI can improve program outcomes, decision quality, and team productivity.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with data warehousing, SQL analytics, cloud data infrastructure, or enterprise AI platforms.
- Experience coordinating programs across U.S. and international engineering teams, particularly teams in India.
- Background in enterprise SaaS, B2B analytics, or open-source data ecosystems.
- A track record of building credibility quickly with engineering and product leaders and being viewed as a trusted execution partner.
