Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Job Summary

Evaluates and treats outpatient clients with injuries, physical limitations, and musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. Develops individualized rehabilitation plans to improve mobility, strength, function, and independence.

Education & Experience

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualifying degree (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Physical Therapist license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required or based on facility requirements)

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients' mobility, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Provides therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training.
• Educates patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Documents evaluations, treatments, and patient outcomes accurately.
