Job description

About this role

At T-Mobile, we invest in YOU! Our Total Rewards Package ensures that employees get the same big love we give our customers. All team members receive a competitive base salary and compensation package - this is Total Rewards.

Employees enjoy multiple wealth-building opportunities through our annual stock grant, employee stock purchase plan, 401(k), and access to free, year-round money coaches. That’s how we’re UNSTOPPABLE for our employees! You'll be joining the Product Management team within T-Mobile's Data & Intelligence organization, serving product and platform needs across the enterprise.

The team specializes in data domain and data platform product management, across a portfolio spanning data infrastructure, semantic layer development, and AI-enabled decision intelligence for both human and machine consumers.

As part of T-Mobile's Enterprise Transformation & AI organization, the team partners with the AI COE, AI Engineering, and program teams to deliver AI-enabled experiences for business partners and consumers. Our products enable the business to move from data access to data intelligence. This role is essential for managing technical products that meet specific business objectives and customer needs within the organization.

It involves owning the product lifecycle, including vision, strategy, technical delivery, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure successful outcomes. The role requires balancing customer insights, technical feasibility, and business goals to prioritize and deliver product features effectively. Success is measured by product performance, customer satisfaction, and the ability to drive growth through innovative solutions.

The work impacts the organization by enabling cross-functional teams to deliver products that enhance customer experiences and achieve business results. Scope of the Role As a Product Manager, Technical, you'll own a product or feature area within a data domain — setting its roadmap, writing its requirements, and partnering directly with the engineering team that builds it.

You'll influence decisions inside your own area and contribute to the domain roadmap around it.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for your product area by defining vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with business and technical goals. Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities and inform product decisions based on data analysis and customer feedback. Translate product strategy into detailed features and user stories, managing the product backlog to support Agile development teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to coordinate release schedules and ensure timely product delivery. Monitor product performance and quality in production, addressing defects and driving continuous improvement. Build adoption tools, enablement content, and training materials that help business partners and internal teams realize value from the products you own.

Develop positive working relationships across the enterprise — including engineering, architecture, data governance, marketing, go-to-market, sales, finance, and legal — as well as with customer groups and their representatives. Surface execution, operational, and organizational issues that impede product success, and drive or escalate improvement plans within your sphere of influence.

Apply AI tools in your own workflow to accelerate research, documentation, and the operational aspects of the product role. Support core Agile tenets: efficient just-in-time flow, lean practices, elimination of waste, and DevOps CI/CD. Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.
