Senior/Staff UX Designer

Senior / Staff Product Designer — Consumer E-commerce Location: Atlanta, GA onsite highly preferred (remote considered for stellar visual/retail experience candidates) Employment Type: W2 Contract opportunity About the Opportunity We're looking for a talented Senior or Staff Product Designer who brings exceptional visual design, strong interaction design, and a passion for creating seamless digital experiences.

You'll work on high-traffic, consumer-facing products supporting the customer shopping journey, including search, product discovery, product detail pages, cart, and checkout. This is a hands-on design opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex UX challenges while creating beautiful, intuitive interfaces.

We're looking for someone who can elevate the quality of the product experience, not simply follow established patterns.

What You'll Do

• Design intuitive, visually polished experiences across web and digital commerce products.
• Own design initiatives from initial exploration through high-fidelity execution and delivery.
• Translate customer needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into thoughtful interaction solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs in Figma.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Researchers, and other designers.
• Work within established design systems while identifying opportunities to improve or extend existing patterns.
• Present design concepts, explain decisions, and incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Help simplify complex shopping and transactional experiences.

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of professional UX or Product Design experience, with more extensive experience expected at the Staff level.
• Strong visual/UI design and interaction design capabilities.
• Experience designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally at scale.
• Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping and working with design systems.
• Experience taking features or product experiences from concept through implementation.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, usability, and accessibility.
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and collaborate across teams.
• A portfolio demonstrating polished UI, thoughtful interactions, and real product outcomes.
• Nice to Have Experience in e-commerce, retail, travel, booking, fintech, or consumer technology.
• Search, filtering, product discovery, checkout, or transactional workflow experience.
• Experience designing within a large enterprise environment.
• Background in a digital product agency or consumer technology organization.
• Portfolio required.
• We're especially interested in designers who can demonstrate strong visual craftsmanship, thoughtful interaction design, and ownership of real customer-facing products.
• The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $55.00 to $70.00/hr.
