About this role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Production team and help deliver complex digital products. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, building strong client relationships, and bringing clarity to complex initiatives.
You'll be comfortable stepping into a project at any stage of the software development lifecycle - whether defining strategy, writing requirements, recovering a project that's off track, or preparing a successful launch. This role is best suited for someone who takes ownership, builds trust quickly, and brings clarity to complex delivery challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver Exceptional Digital Products: Manage multiple complex web, mobile, and software projects across the full software development lifecycle.
- Partner with clients to define product strategy by identifying opportunities, challenging assumptions, and recommending solutions that improve both business outcomes and the overall product experience.
- Lead delivery activities across the software development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through launch and ongoing optimization.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities early and proactively keep projects moving forward.
- Partner with Clients: Build trusted relationships with clients by providing thoughtful guidance, clear communication, and dependable execution.
- Help clients make informed decisions by balancing business objectives, technical considerations, timelines, and budget.
- Participate confidently in technical discussions, translating technical concepts into clear business decisions.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout delivery.
- Drive Strong Project Delivery: Quickly assess unfamiliar or complex projects, establish a clear path forward, and translate ambiguity into actionable plans.
- Own project planning and delivery documentation, including Statements of Work, change requests, project plans, and forecasts.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to successfully balance scope, schedule, budget, quality, and evolving delivery priorities.
- Own the financial health of engagements by proactively managing budgets, forecasts, scope, change requests, and delivery risks.
Leverage AI to Work Smarter
- We're looking for someone who actively embraces AI as part of their day-to-day workflow.
- You'll be encouraged to explore and apply AI in practical ways, including:
- Accelerating documentation, requirements gathering, and ticket creation.
- Summarizing research and technical information.
- Improving planning, estimation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
- Rapidly prototyping ideas or user experiences to improve collaboration and reduce ambiguity before development.
- Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive work and improve delivery processes.
- Experimenting with new AI tools and sharing ideas that help the team become more efficient.
Contribute to the Team
- Share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned across the Production team.
- Help improve processes, templates, and delivery standards.
- Support onboarding and mentoring of newer team members when appropriate.
- Be a dependable teammate who jumps in where needed and contributes to a collaborative, positive culture.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years managing technical digital product (web and or mobile) delivery within an agency, consulting, or software product environment. That experience must include:
- Experience delivering enterprise websites, SaaS platforms, customer portals, mobile applications, and custom software in an external stakeholder facing role.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle from discovery through production support.
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery environments.
- Extensive experience writing functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and project documentation.
- Experience managing fixed-fee, time-and-materials, and retainer engagements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Strong client-facing experience, including requirements gathering, facilitation, and strategic consulting.
- Experience with project financials, estimation, forecasting, and scope management.
- Experience delivering both web and native mobile applications.
- Familiarity with modern cloud technologies and software delivery practices.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to a variety of technical environments.
AI Experience (Strongly Preferred)
We're looking for someone who is already incorporating AI into the way they work and is excited to continue exploring what's possible.
Ideal candidates have experience using AI to:
- Improve project management workflows.
- Draft and refine project documentation.
- Build rapid prototypes or proof-of-concepts.
- Improve estimation, planning, and client communication.
- Experiment with new tools that improve productivity and delivery quality.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Success in this role means becoming someone that both clients and teammates can rely on.
You'll confidently step into technically complex web and mobile projects, quickly understand what's needed, communicate clearly, solve problems proactively, and consistently deliver high-quality work. You'll help clients feel supported, keep projects moving forward, and contribute to making our delivery practices stronger over time.
If you're someone who enjoys variety, likes solving challenging problems, embraces new technology, and takes pride in delivering exceptional digital experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
