THE OPPORTUNITY
Lead daily execution and accountability for a growing, two-location State Farm agency with approximately 14+ team members and expanding. This is a people-leadership and operational performance role - not an individual insurance sales production position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own daily activity dashboards, exception reports, task aging, staffing coverage and follow-through across both offices.
- Hold Sales, Customer Service and Life team leaders accountable for coaching and execution; partner with them rather than replace their day-to-day leadership.
- Monitor service standards: 25+ answered calls per service representative per day, 2+ qualified live lead transfers, FORM discovery, timely service completion and client responsiveness.
- Track sales execution: hot-lead follow-up, auto/fire quote activity, referrals, short-term disability and Life opportunities, and live lead conversion.
- Run brief daily leadership check-ins, document performance gaps and corrective actions, and provide Hank a concise daily exception report and weekly performance review.
- Coordinate schedules, coverage, onboarding, training and process improvements; maintain a positive, accountable team culture.
AUTHORITY AND REPORTING
Directly accountable to Hank. Authorized to set daily priorities, review performance, coach leaders and recommend corrective action. Hank retains final decisions on hiring, termination, pay and formal discipline.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Proven manager of 10+ employees; insurance agency or comparable high-volume sales/service operations experience preferred.
- Highly organized, confident and personable leader who follows through, handles difficult conversations professionally and builds trust.
- Strong Excel/reporting skills, KPI management, workflow improvement and comfort with CRM/task systems; State Farm experience a plus.
COMPENSATION
AND SUCCESS MEASURES
Base: $80,000+ depending on experience. Target annual performance bonus: $20,000+
Target total compensation: approximately $125,000+.
First 90 days: establish reliable reporting, improve activity consistency and service turnaround, and demonstrate measurable leader follow-through.
