SPR is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Engineer to help design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud infrastructure, software development, automation, and scalable application architecture.

In this role, you will collaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, and technical stakeholders to build reliable cloud services, improve system performance, and support secure, efficient application deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and software services.
• Build and support scalable solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop application components, APIs, and integrations that support business requirements.
• Automate deployment, configuration, testing, and infrastructure management processes.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, application, and connectivity issues.
• Implement security best practices for cloud resources, access controls, and application data.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and software release processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to architecture and engineering reviews.
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, cost efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or a related technical role.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, identity management, and security principles.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases, and distributed application systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or similar infrastructure tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Git, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
