Customer Success Specialist

This position is full-time and on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL.

Peace Industries, LTD (dba Spotnails), an award-winning distributor of pneumatic stapling tools, collated fasteners, and replacement parts, headquartered in Rolling Meadows IL, is seeking a customer success specialistto join our team, help us continue to build a fantastic workplace, and help our customers succeed.

Job Summary

Customer-focused professional serving as the primary liaison between customers, sales, operations, and logistics teams. Responsible for order management, issue resolution, relationship building, and cross-functional coordination to ensure an outstanding customer experience while supporting company growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities* Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive, professional service.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including order entry, confirmations, back orders, and shipment follow-up.
• Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product, freight, pricing, delivery, and account issues.
• Process RMAs and maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency.

Qualifications* High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven customer service experience in distribution, logistics, or related environments.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.
