About us Smile Surgical Solutions is a growing travel dental surgery practice. We partner with general dentistry offices across the Chicagoland area to provide turnkey surgical services, including implants, extractions, wisdom teeth, full-arch cases, and IV sedation, bringing our own team, equipment, and supplies.

About the role

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Operations Manager to serve as the doctor’s second-in-command. You’ll keep our multi-office operation running smoothly, from scheduling and team coordination to compliance and partner growth.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgery days with partner offices and manage the master calendar
• Coordinate dental assistant coverage, hours, and schedules
• Check and track supplies and equipment before each surgery day
• Maintain IV sedation compliance records and logs
• Serve as the main point of contact for partner offices
• Support partner outreach, marketing, and business development efforts

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear, responsive, and professional communication
• Ability to take ownership and work independently
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (occasional travel to partner offices)
• Comfortable learning new scheduling and communication tools

Preferred

• Experience in an oral surgery or dental office setting
• Familiarity with dental practice operations and scheduling

Schedule

Part-time with flexible days, mostly remote, with occasional in-person days at partner offices.
