Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC (3 Days onsite per week) Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer with hands-on experience in test automation , HyperExecute or Harness . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test strategies to ensure product quality, reliability, and performance across web applications and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Utilize OpenText ALM Octane for test planning, defect tracking, and test management.
• Implement and manage test execution pipelines using HyperExecute .
• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using Harness .
• Develop and execute API automation and UI automation test cases.
• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain test documentation, test plans, and test reports.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Software Testing and QA Automation .
• Experience working with HyperExecute for scalable cloud-based test execution.
• Strong knowledge of Harness and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TestNG .
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript .
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools .
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with defect management and test reporting tools.
