Software Engineer

Job Description

SAI360 is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business operations and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, analytical thinking, and a commitment to building secure, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, product, and quality assurance teams to develop application features, resolve technical issues, improve system performance, and deliver maintainable software aligned with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain APIs, database integrations, and application components.
• Troubleshoot software defects and resolve application performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established software engineering standards.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to support software quality.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and application architecture improvements.
• Support software deployments, updates, and ongoing maintenance.
• Identify opportunities to improve application reliability, scalability, and security.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow secure development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in software engineering, application development, or a related technical role.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, SQL, and version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software testing, debugging, and the software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, or modern application frameworks is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Compensation
