Accountant/Bookkeeper

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accurate bookkeeping practices. This role involves handling various accounting functions, maintaining confidential information, and supporting the financial health of our organization.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in financial software, data entry, and Microsoft Office tools, with a strong understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes.

Duties

• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
• Utilize financial software to record, reconcile, and analyze financial transactions
• Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
• Prepare financial reports and statements as needed to support management decision-making
• Assist with month-end closing processes and account reconciliations
• Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial activities
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and ensure compliance with company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounting and finance roles, specifically in bookkeeping and accounts management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience with financial software relevant to bookkeeping and accounting tasks
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and external vendors

This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to our organization’s financial stability while working in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $24.76 - $50.00 per hour
