Position Summary

Reporting directly to the Director of the HCC, the Registered Nurse promotes and restores student health by delivering high-standard nursing care, collaborating with our multidisciplinary campus team, and consulting with physicians as needed. You will provide essential physical and psychological support to our students, alongside emergency care for students, staff, and campus visitors.

What You’ll Do

• Compassionate Student Care: Administer medications, provide treatments, review student health logs and electronic health records (via Magnus Health), and support students' growth toward health self-care and independence.
• Clinical Excellence & Collaboration: Coordinate medical/lab appointments, safely transport students when needed, accompany students to the ER, and collaborate seamlessly with doctors, staff, and families.
• Emergency & Day-to-Day Operations: Respond swiftly to health needs, manage medical supplies, maintain equipment, and meticulously document care adhering to state board and school regulations.
• Holistic School Community Support: Foster a civil, professional, and positive environment aligned with our "in loco parentis" philosophy, contributing to student morale, safety, and emotional well-being.(Note for potential overnight or flexible shift considerations: Duties may include overnight monitoring, remote device checks, and specialized care protocols as assigned).

• Schedule: 11-Month Position
• Possible part time to full time role
• Location: Riverview School Campus – East Sandwich, MA

Pay: $35.50 - $40.26 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 32.0 per week

Work Location: In person
