About the Opportunity

PROLIM is seeking an experienced Computer Systems Architect 3 to support Northrop Grumman Mission Systems on mission-critical defence programs and enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

We are looking for a technically strong professional with expertise in Linux systems administration, cybersecurity hardening, infrastructure architecture, and automation to support complex classified and unclassified computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex system architectures and development environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux systems.
• Implement system hardening and STIG security requirements.
• Support LDAP/RHDS, Splunk, and Linux DNS/BIND.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash/Shell, Python, and Ansible.
• Support VMware virtualization, networking, and system integration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on Dev Sec Ops, infrastructure automation, and system sustainment.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and improve system reliability and security.

Required Technical Skills

• Red Hat Linux administration and advanced troubleshooting
• LDAP / Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS)
• System hardening and STIG implementation
• Splunk monitoring and log analysis
• DNS / Linux BIND
• Bash/Shell, Python, and Ansible
• Basic Windows OS knowledge
• Effective communication and independent critical thinking skills

Preferred Skills

• VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, and other virtualization platforms
• Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift
• Linux/Unix system design and sustainment
• Networking, iSCSI, backup, and recovery solutions
