About this role
Physical Therapist / Practice Owner - Austin, TX 78757
Build & Grow Your
Own Physical Therapy Practice Rent Support | Insurance-Based Practice | Flexible Schedule | Business & Referral Growth Support Are you a Physical Therapist who wants to build your own practice without taking on all of the overhead and administrative burden alone? We're looking for an entrepreneurial PT to launch or grow an independent physical therapy practice in North/Central Austin (78757) .
This opportunity is ideal for a clinician who wants the autonomy of practice ownership but is looking for a true partner to help with patient growth, insurance operations, and the business side of scaling a practice. You'll have access to a professional treatment environment within an established fitness setting, along with rent support while you build your patient volume. This is not a traditional staff PT position.
You'll have the opportunity to build something of your own - with support behind you.
The Opportunity
You'll operate your own physical therapy practice while partnering with Prava Therapy to help build a sustainable patient base. You focus on delivering excellent care and developing your reputation in the community. We'll work alongside you on the pieces that often make starting a practice difficult - from insurance credentialing and billing to referral development, marketing, and patient growth.
The goal is to help you move from launch to consistent patient volume to a thriving independent practice.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and active adult patients.
- Develop individualized plans of care based on each patient's goals.
- Build meaningful relationships with patients and the surrounding Austin community.
- Develop relationships with physicians, gyms, wellness professionals, and other local referral sources.
- Partner directly with our local growth team to identify and execute opportunities to increase patient volume.
- Help establish and grow your practice's local brand and reputation.
- Maintain clinical documentation and standards in accordance with Texas PT requirements.
- Determine your own schedule, desired patient volume, and long-term vision for your practice.
- Why This Opportunity?
- Rent Support While You Grow Reduce one of the biggest financial barriers to launching a practice with support toward your treatment-space costs as you establish patient volume.
- You Own the Practice Build your own patient base, reputation, schedule, and long-term business rather than building someone else's practice.
- A Partner Focused on Patient Growth You won't be expected to figure out growth alone.
- You'll work directly with a local partner focused on helping you develop physician referrals, community relationships, marketing initiatives, and other patient-acquisition channels.
- Accept Insurance Without Managing It Yourself Expand access to your services while receiving support with credentialing, eligibility, billing, collections, and revenue-cycle management.
- Built-In Business Infrastructure Access EMR and AI-powered documentation tools along with operational support designed specifically for independent therapy practices.
- Low-Overhead Path to Practice Ownership Launch without immediately taking on the costs and commitments associated with opening a traditional standalone clinic.
