Job description

About this role

Physical Therapist Opportunity With Clinical Autonomy, Advanced Skills, and Meaningful Patient Care

You became a Physical Therapist to evaluate movement, solve meaningful clinical problems, and help people regain the strength, mobility, and confidence to live the life they want.

At Pivotal Physical Therapy, you will practice Physical Therapy in a clinician-led environment where your clinical judgment is respected, your growth is supported, and your treatment plans are built around the individual patient.

You will work with a diverse outpatient population, including orthopedic patients, active older adults, post-operative patients, individuals with balance and mobility limitations, and people who want to remain active and independent.

This is an opportunity to build a long-term Physical Therapy career where you can strengthen your orthopedic skills, use hands-on treatment when clinically appropriate, expand into advanced specialties, and make a measurable impact on your patients.

Whether you are an experienced Physical Therapist looking for greater autonomy or an exceptional new graduate ready to develop advanced clinical skills, you will have the support, mentorship, and professional opportunities to continue growing.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive:

  • $80,000 to $105,000 annual salary, based on experience.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Signing bonus available.
  • Relocation assistance available.
  • 401(k) with profit sharing.
  • Health insurance.
  • Dental insurance.
  • Vision insurance.
  • Paid Time Off.
  • Flexible scheduling options.
  • Structured clinical mentorship.
  • Protected collaboration and mentorship time.
  • Continuing education support.
  • Leadership and advancement opportunities.
  • Advanced specialty training opportunities.
  • AI-supported EMR technology designed to reduce documentation burden.

Practice Physical Therapy With Greater Clinical Autonomy

At Pivotal Physical Therapy, your role is not simply to move patients through a standard treatment protocol.

You will have the opportunity to evaluate thoroughly, identify the factors limiting movement and function, and create an individualized plan of care based on the patient in front of you.

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

  • Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations.
  • Develop individualized, goal-based plans of care.
  • Treat orthopedic, mobility, balance, strength, and functional limitations.
  • Use manual therapy and hands-on interventions when clinically appropriate.
  • Incorporate therapeutic exercise, progressive strengthening, and movement retraining.
  • Progress treatment based on objective findings and patient response.
  • Educate patients on recovery, movement strategies, and home programming.
  • Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, confidence, and independence.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians on complex cases.
  • Complete accurate documentation using an AI-supported EMR system.
  • Participate in mentorship, professional development, and continuing education.

Help Patients Stay Active and Independent

A meaningful part of your caseload will include older adults who want to continue living active, capable, and independent lives.

Your Physical Therapy care may help patients:

  • Improve balance and reduce fall risk.
  • Walk with greater confidence.
  • Recover from orthopedic surgery or injury.
  • Reduce pain, stiffness, and movement limitations.
  • Improve strength, mobility, and endurance.
  • Return to exercise and recreational activities.
  • Continue gardening, golfing, traveling, and staying active.
  • Maintain independence at home.
  • Stay involved in the activities that matter most to them.

You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with patients while seeing the real-world impact that skilled Physical Therapy can have on their quality of life.

Strengthen Your Orthopedic and Manual Therapy Skills

If you enjoy orthopedic Physical Therapy and hands-on care, you will have opportunities to continue sharpening your clinical skills.

Treatment may include:

  • Manual therapy.
  • Therapeutic exercise.
  • Progressive strengthening.
  • Movement retraining.
  • Neuromuscular re-education.

  • Other advanced orthopedic or manual therapy approaches.

Formal certifications are valued, but they are not required to demonstrate strong clinical ability.

Experience developed through mentorship, continuing education, clinical practice, and a commitment to improving your craft is equally important.

Continue Expanding Your Clinical Skills

Your career does not have to stay limited to one treatment area.

Depending on your interests and experience, you may have opportunities to continue developing skills in:

  • Advanced orthopedic Physical Therapy.

  • Dry needling.
  • Vestibular rehabilitation.
  • Concussion care.

Dry needling experience or certification is preferred.

Physical Therapists without dry needling experience may also be considered when they have a genuine interest in learning and continuing their clinical development.

A Strong Opportunity for Experienced Physical Therapists

You may have opportunities to:

  • Collaborate with growth-minded clinicians.
  • Mentor developing Physical Therapists.
  • Contribute to clinical processes and patient care strategies.

You can remain clinically challenged while building a meaningful long-term career in Physical Therapy.

You will receive structured mentorship, protected collaboration time, clinical guidance, and professional development support as you transition into practice.
