POSITION: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
DUTIES: The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for decoding, validating,
processing, and billing end customer usage CDRs/files across multiple record types, including
Voice, Data, SMS, and MMS. Accountable for a wide range of activities that ensure accuracy,
reliability, and quality of mediation workflows.
Specific job duties include:
Gather the initial requirements during the PI planning sessions and planning on resources, scope
and high-level test plans for future sprints visibility.
Develop automated test suites for Ericsson Mediation workflows, validating CDR ingestion,
transformation, distribution and billing as per the enhancements.
Build automation scripts to verify mediation nodes, routing rules, and pipeline performance under
high volume loads.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.
Create SQL scripts, triggers, and stored procedures to validate mediation output and ensure data
integrity of the customer.
Collaborate with R&D and telecom engineering teams to troubleshoot mediation failures and
optimize processing logic by making necessary changes to testing workflows.
Develop continuous regression suites using Selenium and Java to assess new functionality
impacts.
Perform code validation reviews and enforced automation best practices across the QA team.
Responsible for all smoke and sanity checks across all environments, including production.

REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in a related occupation.
- Previous work experience or academic coursework must have included experience with: Three (3) years of experience in telecom industry; experience with Ericsson Mediation platform; Experience with the following tools; Java, SQL, CI/CD pipelines, Gitlab CI, Jenkins, Selenium, Cucumber, SQL Scripts and Linux.
