About this role

WHO WE ARE

New York Cares is New York City’s largest volunteer organization, mobilizing tens of thousands of New Yorkers each year to address pressing community needs across education, hunger, and public spaces. Through partnerships with companies, nonprofits, schools, and city agencies, we deliver high-impact volunteer programs that strengthen communities and improve lives throughout the city.

The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of marketing and communications efforts that build awareness, engagement, and support for New York Cares. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications, this role provides hands-on support across marketing campaigns, content, digital channels, reporting, events, and team operations.

The Marketing Coordinator helps keep projects organized and moving forward by creating and updating content, coordinating materials and logistics, preparing reports, and supporting requests from teams across the organization. This is a generalist role for an organized, detail-oriented early-career marketer who is eager to build broad experience across the marketing function and contribute to the work of New York Cares.

The ideal candidate is curious, resourceful, collaborative, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while working with colleagues across the organization.
