IT Solutions Architect - NET/Sharepoint/Powerapps

Senior .NET Architect Location: Vienna, VA, onsite at the client site one day per week Federal experience: A strong plus Position Overview We are seeking a Senior .NET Architect to lead the architecture and modernization of enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing solutions with .NET, SharePoint, K2 workflows, Power Apps, and Power Automate, along with experience using AI and machine learning to support modernization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of .NET applications and enterprise solutions.
• Assess existing applications and develop modernization strategies and roadmaps.
• Design solutions that integrate .NET applications, SharePoint, K2 workflows, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Identify practical opportunities to apply AI and machine learning to modernization efforts.
• Establish architecture standards and guide development teams on technical decisions.
• Use Azure DevOps to support source control, build and release pipelines, and delivery processes.
• Address application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, developers, and project leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience designing applications using .NET, SharePoint, and K2 workflows.
• 8+ years of experience in architecture and IT modernization.
• Architect certification.
• Strong .NET architecture and application design experience.
• Experience with SharePoint solutions and K2 workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, including repositories and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience assessing legacy applications and planning modernization.
• Ability to work onsite in Vienna, VA one day per week.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to advise technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal government clients or projects is a strong plus.
• Experience applying AI or machine learning to application modernization.
• Experience with Azure cloud services and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Agile delivery and DevSecOps practices.
