Looking for a nursing opportunity that offers independence, flexibility, and meaningful work?

At Mountain Valley Hospice, our after-hours nurses provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients and families when they need it most. Unlike traditional night shift positions, our after-hours RNs are primarily on-call from home, responding to patient needs and making visits when necessary.

You'll have the independence to work from home between patient care needs while remaining available to provide hands-on nursing care throughout your assigned service area.

Available Schedules

• Friday–Sunday: 4 PM–8 AM

What You'll Do

• Respond to after-hours patient and family calls.
• Assess patient needs and provide nursing guidance and support.
• Make in-home patient visits when clinical needs require hands-on care.
• Collaborate with the hospice care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide comfort, symptom management, and compassionate support to patients and families.

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond to changing patient needs.
• Hospice, home health, or related nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to remain within the assigned service area during scheduled on-call hours and travel to patients' homes when needed.
