Senior DevOps Engineer

A large financial services and trading firm is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer for a full-time opportunity based in Chicago, IL. This engineer will play a key role in scaling Kubernetes environments and enhancing the organization's observability platform. As a technology-driven trading shop, the company relies on highly available, scalable infrastructure to support mission-critical trading operations.

The team leverages GitLab for Kubernetes deployments, and this position will work closely with cross-functional teams to support platform adoption and onboarding efforts. The role will also focus on infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
• Ability to work directly with trading desks and business stakeholders

Desired Skills

• Experience with Airflow or Kubeflow
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous experience working at a trading firm or within financial services
• Experience working on a small, collaborative engineering team
