Mockins is a growing automotive e-commerce brand seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Lead Mechanical Product Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve our products. The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and brings a practical, hands-on approach to engineering challenges.

What You'll Do

• Drive product engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Lead and guide a team of mechanical engineers, providing technical direction and ensuring high-quality work
• Create CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications
• Lead prototyping, testing, and failure analysis; implement corrective actions
• Ensure product safety, durability, quality, and manufacturability
• Collaborate with manufacturers and internal teams

What We're Looking For

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent relevant mechanical product design experience
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering simulation tools
• Strong understanding of materials, mechanics, and manufacturing processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, organized, and self-motivated
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
