Job Description

MiaRec is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its software applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in software testing, automation frameworks, and quality assurance methodologies. This role involves testing AI-powered applications, identifying software defects, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver dependable software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated software test cases.
• Test web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Develop and maintain automated testing scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Validate application functionality across different environments.
• Test AI-powered features and automated quality assurance workflows.
• Collaborate with software developers to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain test documentation and quality assurance reports.
• Participate in software release testing and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Knowledge of Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with API testing and web application testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and database fundamentals.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Postman and REST API testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud-based software applications.
• Experience testing AI-powered applications or analytics platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.

Compensation

Estimated annual salary range: $120,000 – $140,000, depending on experience, technical expertise, and qualifications. Actual compensation must be confirmed by the employer.
