Job Summary:

North Texas Heart Surgery Center at Medical City Alliance is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to care for pre and post-operative cardiac surgery patients.

Qualified Candidates:* Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)

• Texas license or ability to obtain one
• Monday – Friday schedule with rotating weekend coverage
• Have experience in CVICU and knowledge of a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices (intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, VV/VA ECMO)
• Manage patients in the CVICU recovering from CABG, valve replacement including TAVRs, complex aortic reconstruction, LVAD placement and heart transplantation in addition to our mechanical circulator support patients
• Will cover patient consults and discharges from after surgery
