Medasic, LLC is an Addiction Medicine treatment clinic with multiple locations in the Upstate, Midlands of South Carolina and portions of North Carolina. Our vision is to provide a valuable resource to a vulnerable population of patients with opiate addiction. Our providers take great pride with personal treatment programs for each individual according to their needs.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Masters, postgraduate or doctoral degree from a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner program.

Experience

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with preferred experience in addiction medicine(but not required).

Licensure/Certification

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in South Carolina. Other certifications may be required depending on the location of the position.

• Must be able to maintain advanced medical knowledge in order to accurately and appropriately manage both acute and chronic conditions.

-Must have passion to deliver quality care in an outpatient setting.

-Must have a strong clinical background and experience in psychiatry.

• Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to be a team player is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management, including botulinum toxin treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, focusing on addiction medicine and overall mental wellness.
• Document patient progress in EHR systems and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options, fostering a supportive environment.

Pay: From $65.00 per hour
