About this role
Who we are
We are a group of creatives, engineers, and fabricators who care deeply about the human experience. We have created, fabricated, and installed specialty items such as a 32-foot-wide basketball goal for the Final Four, a 6-foot tall Solo cup for the Dude Perfect National Tour, and 2-inch scaled replicas of a future store layout for Chick-fil-A. We have never made the same thing twice.
We strive to be a company where people feel seen, fulfilled, and appreciated, built on four core values: quality, humility, engagement, and team player.
The job
We are looking for an Account Executive to be the person our clients call. Agencies and brands come to us with ideas that do not exist yet. You turn those into scoped, priced, signed work, hand production to the Project Manager, and stay with the client on budget and scope into the next job.
Accountabilities
- Main point of contact for all accounts
- Converting potential work into revenue through prompt communication and fast, accurate estimates
- Owning the client-facing number: scope, cost, and what a change costs
- Making sure what we deliver is what the client wanted
- Keeping agency relationships active between projects
Responsibilities
- Managing all inbound requests
- Taking intake calls with leadership, then turning them into a brief the shop can price
- Facilitating vendor quotes to turn estimates, and following up until we have an answer
- Contracts and invoicing: papering contracts and change orders, and telling accounting when a deposit or milestone is due
- Ensure a clear and seamless handoff to the Project Manager once the contract is signed
Expectations
- A people person who cares about relationships and is energized by them
- Has managed accounts in experiential, events, agency, or custom fabrication
- Comfortable talking about fabrication without pretending to be a fabricator
- Can hold a firm price in a friendly conversation
- Writes clearly and fast, and does not let threads go cold
- Spots problems, brings solutions, and raises them early
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, Adobe, Claude, Notion, and Slack
Other important aspects
- Reports to the COO
- Potential to travel
- Parental leave for either parent, given birth, adoption, or loss of pregnancy
- Working hours generally 8 to 4 with a 1-hour lunch
- Potential for long hours on some projects
- Free snacks!!!
Pay: $68,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Dental insurance
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Parental leave
- Vision insurance
