Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Litigation Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team.

Our Labor and Employment team provides counsel to hundreds of public-school districts

and other public agencies throughout California. This is a great opportunity for an

attorney who thrives on meaningful work, values collaboration, and wants to make a

lasting impact on communities throughout California. We are looking for individuals with

5-7 years of experience in labor and employment with a passion for public entity

representation. Administrative hearing experience a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handle all stages of litigation, from case assessment and discovery to law and motion practice, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Represent public agency clients in state and federal courts across a wide range of litigation matters.
• Manage a diverse caseload independently while collaborating with other experienced attorneys.
• Participate in strategic planning, risk management, and client communication Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for advocating for educational institutions and public agencies.
• Salary: $140,000 - $225,000/year The posted range represents the full span for the role and does not indicate that every hire will be placed at the top of the range.
