Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a growing organization in the Frisco area seeking a

Senior Accountant

to support its accounting team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is comfortable jumping into a fast-paced environment and handling day-to-day general ledger accounting with minimal ramp-up.

The ideal candidate will have strong

general ledger and reconciliation experience

, hands-on knowledge of

SAP

, and advanced Excel skills. Candidates must be comfortable working independently with

VLOOKUPs and PivotTables

.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Complete bank and cash reconciliations
• Prepare accruals and month-end accounting entries
• Perform cost center analysis
• Complete payroll reconciliations
• Create new account reconciliations as needed
• Research and resolve reconciliation discrepancies
• Work within

SAP

and

BlackLine

• Utilize Excel extensively for accounting analysis and reporting
• Support AFO reporting and other accounting needs
• Assist with additional month-end and general accounting responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Previous Senior Accountant or strong Staff Accountant-level experience
• Strong general ledger, journal entry and reconciliation experience
• Hands-on SAP experience required
• Advanced Excel skills required, including:
• VLOOKUPs
• PivotTables
• Creating and working with formulas
• Experience with

BlackLine

strongly preferred

• Oracle experience is a plus
• Experience with accruals, cost center analysis and payroll reconciliations preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred
• Ability to step into an established accounting team and quickly become productive
