Job description

About this role

IT Manager | Greater Milwaukee Area | Hybrid Flexibility Looking for an IT leadership opportunity where you can truly own the technology environment instead of being one small piece of a massive IT organization? We’re partnering with a growing financial services organization in the Mukwonago / Greater Milwaukee area that is looking for a hands-on IT Manager to become the internal owner of technology across the business.

This is not a traditional people-management role . It’s a high-visibility position for someone who loves technology, enjoys solving problems, knows how to manage an MSP, and wants a seat at the table when technology decisions are made.

What You’ll Own

Serve as the primary internal point of contact for IT Manage and hold the company’s MSP accountable for service, escalations and projects Support Microsoft 365, endpoints, identity/access, networking, cloud services and collaboration tools Troubleshoot user, device and application issues when hands-on support makes sense Own IT onboarding/offboarding, equipment and access management Partner with leadership and vendors around cybersecurity, patching, endpoint protection and incident response Improve IT documentation, standards, policies and disaster recovery practices Manage technology vendors, licensing, purchasing and equipment lifecycle planning Recommend technology improvements and help drive implementation What We’re Looking For: Strong hands-on IT experience within a small or midsized organization Experience managing or partnering closely with an MSP or outsourced IT provider Solid Microsoft 365, endpoint, networking, identity/access and cybersecurity knowledge Someone who can communicate equally well with executives, end users and technical vendors A self-directed problem solver who can prioritize and own IT without needing a large internal team Financial services, banking, lending or another regulated-industry background is a plus Must be local to the Greater Milwaukee area and able to be onsite in Mukwonago as business needs require Compensation: Targeting in the 100,000 - $125,000 base salary plus an excellent 401K match of 6 percent, generous PTO and some of the best health benefits companies can offer.

If you’re the person everyone turns to when technology needs to work, improve, or get fixed , this could be a great opportunity to step into a highly visible role and make an immediate impact.

Equal Opportunity

Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, or any other protected characteristic.
