About this role
Description
Leidos is seeking a dynamic, mission-focused Site Lead / PMO Liaison to support our GEOINT operations at a customer site in St. Louis, Missouri.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives at the center of mission operations—building relationships, solving problems, supporting employees, and ensuring our teams have what they need to succeed.
As the primary on-site representative for Leidos, you will serve as a critical connection between our employees, customer leadership, and the Leidos Portfolio Management Office (PMO). You will maintain a strong presence across the site, engage directly with mission stakeholders, anticipate operational challenges, and drive solutions that keep the mission moving forward.
This role is about leadership in action. You'll spend your days connecting with people, strengthening customer partnerships, removing obstacles, and staying ahead of issues before they impact operations. From coordinating with senior customer leadership to resolving unexpected challenges on the ground, you'll be trusted to take initiative, make sound decisions, and deliver results.
While program coordination, reporting, and administrative responsibilities are important components of the position, the real impact comes from being present, building trust, and making things happen.
The ideal candidate brings energy, initiative, sound judgment, and a genuine commitment to both mission success and the people behind it. If you're a natural problem-solver who enjoys being where the action is, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.
Primary Responsibilities
Site Leadership & Daily Operations
- Serve as Leidos' primary on-site representative and point of contact for daily operational matters at the St. Louis customer location.
- Maintain an active, visible presence across the site, engaging regularly with employees, customer representatives, and mission stakeholders.
- Proactively identify operational challenges, develop practical solutions, and take ownership of issues through resolution.
- Coordinate daily site activities to support mission continuity, operational readiness, and employee effectiveness.
- Respond quickly to emerging issues, exercising sound judgment and escalating matters to the PMO when appropriate.
- Support employee onboarding, site access coordination, and integration into customer operations.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with customer leadership, mission partners, and site personnel.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between Leidos employees, customer representatives, and the PMO.
- Navigate complex customer environments with professionalism, diplomacy, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
- Anticipate customer concerns, clarify expectations, and work collaboratively to resolve issues before they affect mission performance.
- Represent Leidos during customer meetings, site visits, leadership engagements, and other operational activities.
- Coordinate and support visits from Leidos leadership, customer representatives, and newly arriving personnel.
PMO Coordination & Program
Support
- Serve as the primary coordination link between St. Louis site operations and the Leidos PMO.
- Maintain accurate staffing information, including personnel assignments, vacancies, employee transitions, and onboarding status.
- Prepare, validate, and submit customer staffing sheets, operational updates, and required program deliverables.
- Track action items, reporting deadlines, and administrative requirements to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Coordinate with PMO stakeholders on staffing, personnel concerns, site requirements, and operational priorities.
- Keep program leadership informed of site activities, emerging challenges, customer concerns, and potential risks.
- Support program management activities while maintaining a primary focus on daily operational execution and customer engagement.
Security, Compliance & Site Coordination
- Coordinate with Leidos Security, customer security representatives, and program leadership to support personnel access and site security requirements.
- Assist with security-related administrative processes, onboarding requirements, and compliance tracking.
- Help ensure personnel understand and follow applicable customer site procedures, security protocols, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate visitor arrivals, leadership visits, facility access, and associated logistical requirements.
- Identify potential security or compliance concerns and communicate them through established reporting channels.
Employee Engagement & Mission
Support
- Foster a positive, accountable, mission-focused environment that promotes employee engagement, performance, and retention.
- Maintain an accessible leadership presence, serving as a trusted resource for employees navigating workplace concerns or operational challenges.
- Build strong working relationships with team leads, analysts, and other on-site personnel.
- Proactively recognize staffing challenges, employee concerns, and emerging morale issues before they affect mission execution.
- Partner with program leadership and the PMO to address workforce needs, support employee development, and improve operational effectiveness.
- Promote a culture of ownership, responsiveness, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
