Staff Technical Program Manager- Security

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager- Security to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will lead a critical security program portfolio with broad influence across engineering teams in a cloud-native environment. You will own the strategy, execution, and measurement of initiatives that strengthen security posture while balancing technical depth, stakeholder alignment, and delivery discipline.

This position requires close partnership with engineering and technical leadership to drive risk mitigation, inform design decisions, and keep complex programs moving forward.

Location

Mountain View, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $222,500 – $305,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Define and own the security program strategy and roadmap
• Drive initiatives across various engineering domains
• Oversee execution of complex security engineering initiatives
• Leverage technical knowledge to influence design decisions and mitigate risks
• Define and track security metrics to measure impact and program health
• Present program status and risks to executive and technical audiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
• 8+ years in technical program management or a related leadership role
• Experience leading large-scale security programs in cloud-native or SaaS environments
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to align stakeholders
• Deep technical knowledge in IAM, data privacy, and anomaly detection
• Proven ability to resolve conflicting priorities across teams
