As a Physical Therapist, you’ll help patients improve movement, manage pain, and build skills for daily life. You’ll assess each patient’s needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care across settings such as hospitals, clinics, outpatient rehabilitation centers, and home and community care. Your work may support people across the lifespan, including pediatric and geriatric patients.

Duties

• Evaluate patient function using anatomy and physiology knowledge, and explain findings in clear, supportive language.
• Develop and update care plans; deliver physiotherapy and patient rehabilitation, including orthopedic, neurological, and trigger point therapy interventions as appropriate.
• Document assessments, treatment, progress, and discharge planning in electronic health records (EHR) or other electronic medical record (EMR) systems, following clinical documentation standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and support safe transitions between inpatient, outpatient, and home health services.

Qualifications

• Required: Current authorization to practice in a physical therapy role and knowledge of medical terminology, patient care, and physical therapy documentation.
• Preferred: Acute care, inpatient, hospital, clinic, outpatient clinic, outpatient rehabilitation center, or home health experience.
• Experience working with geriatric patients, pediatrics, or people receiving home and community care is valued.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR management, treatment plan development, discharge planning, and clinical documentation standards is an asset.
• Strong client communication and the ability to coordinate effectively with healthcare professionals.

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
