Job Overview
:
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Lowell, MA. This role focuses on building
end-to-end web applications
that interface with our Java/Spring and Kubernetes-based IoT platform as well as support existing AWS platform applications. You will primarily develop both
user-facing web applications
and the
Kubernetes-backed services
that power them, working across frontend, backend, and Kubernetes infrastructure to deliver real-time monitoring and control systems for emergency communication devices.
This is an onsite role in Lowell, MA (no remote)

Responsibilities:
· Design and develop JV/Spring and Kubernetes-based applications for intelligent emergency reporting systems and devices
· Support real-time applications that interact with physical devices via MQTT, AWS IoT Core, AWS Lambda, AWS Amplify, Dynamo DB
· Maintain and improve
existing AWS infrastructure
(CloudWatch, logging, alarms, deployments)
· Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mobile teams to deliver cohesive system functionality
· Participate in architecture discussions and help evolve system design
Core Skills
· Proficiency in building
full-stack web applications
with Java/Spring framework,
JavaScript / TypeScript and backend Nodejs is a big plus
· Experience with
React or Vue
· Solid understanding of
HTML, CSS, and responsive UI design
· Proficiency with REST, GraphQL and WebSocket is a plus
· Proven experience with Kubernetes backed services and AWS
Cloud / AWS Experience (important but not dominant)
· Experience with AWS services such as:
Lambda
API Gateway
DynamoDB
IoT Core
· Familiarity with event-driven or serverless architectures
· Basic experience with
CloudWatch, logging, and monitoring
· Understanding of deployment workflows (CI/CD is a plus)
· Experience with Kubernetes
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering or related field is required. Master's degree in related fields would be a plus
· 2+ years’ experience in
Software development in a product oriented environment
