Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are working a leading FinTech, and seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help evolve their AI-assisted Intelligence product into a scalable, production-grade platform.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role for an engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and can bring structure and rigor to rapidly developed applications.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using React, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Develop secure APIs, backend services, and microservices
• Partner with Product, Data Engineering, and AI/ML teams to deliver intelligent, AI-powered capabilities
• Convert prototypes and business requirements into reliable production systems
• Improve platform scalability, performance, reliability, and observability
• Contribute to architecture, code reviews, CI/CD automation, DevOps processes, and engineering best practices
• Deploy and optimize applications in cloud-native and containerized environments

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Strong expertise with React.js, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and REST APIs
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and Git-based workflows
• AI/ML-enabled applications and AI-assisted development workflows
• Excited about leveraging AI to improve engineering productivity and innovation
• Nestjs, Express.js a plus
• Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment

Compensation: $170K-$185K Base + 10% Bonus

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)
