About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead network infrastructure upgrade initiatives within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong IT project management experience along with hands-on exposure to network upgrade implementations in a GxP environment .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead network infrastructure upgrade projects from planning and execution through go-live, hyper-care, and closeout.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables using a structured
Waterfall
methodology.
- Partner with IT, Quality, Laboratory, Manufacturing Operations, vendors, and other cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate network upgrade activities while ensuring alignment with pharmaceutical GxP requirements.
- Manage vendors and third-party partners throughout project execution.
- Provide onsite support during implementation and shutdown periods, including occasional weekend support when required.
- Utilize project management and collaboration tools such as
Planview, Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Smartsheet
.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience with strong
IT Project Management
expertise.
- Proven experience implementing
network upgrades within a GxP-regulated environment
.
- Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience required.
- Strong understanding of
GxP practices and regulated environments
.
- Hands-on experience with
Waterfall project management
.
- Project management experience across at least two areas such as
IT, Quality, Labs, or Manufacturing Operations
.
- Strong vendor management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
- PMP certification is a plus.
