IT Procurement Analyst- Hybrid- Henrico, VA

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Sourcing Consultant to lead a sole-source procurement process for a cloud-based licensing and enforcement system.

Responsibilities:

• Manage sole-source IT procurement and required documentation.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate pricing, contracts, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, project teams, and suppliers.
• Identify procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare technical documentation and gather requirements.
• Conduct project closure and lessons-learned reviews.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in procurement and supplier management, including cloud solutions.
• 8+ years of contract and vendor negotiation experience.
• 8+ years of technical writing and requirements gathering experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Virginia public procurement laws.
• Familiarity with VITA cloud-hosted security requirements.

Additional Requirements:

• Candidate must physically reside in the United States throughout the assignment.
• Local Richmond candidates preferred.
• Initial interview via Microsoft Teams, followed by an in-person interview.
• Candidate must be available for 20 hours per week for the full 8-week assignment.
