Key Responsibilities

• Patient-Centered Care: Implement occupational therapy programs focused on short-term rehabilitation, restorative care, and skilled maintenance for our in-house residents.
• Direct Rehabilitation: Work directly with residents to help them achieve maximum physical recovery and independence.
• Progress Tracking: Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy treatments, record detailed patient progress, and communicate outcomes clearly.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure well-rounded, holistic resident care.
• Team Leadership: Provide supervision and guidance for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Qualifications

• Licensed (or license-eligible) as an Occupational Therapist in New York State (NYS).
• New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply!
• Strong ability to build rapport with patients, families, and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
