The role:

My client are seeking an experienced BI Data Analyst to join their growing team in Chicago.

This role requires you to be in the office 4 days a week.

The successful candidate will stem from a Trading background and have good knowledge of financial instruments and the Trading lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Working across finance, trading operations and data engineering
• In depth analysis of Trading related Data
• Data analysis, validation and acuity
• Management and audit reporting

Core skills required:

• Strong Python experience for Data related work – Pandas, database connectivity, writing clean and repeatable scripts
• Strong SQL experience – complex multi-table joins, aggregation, query performance
• Experience working within a Trading firm
• Experience working with Tableau, Power BI or similar solutions
• Exposure to VAT/GST/Regulatory Reporting
