Now Hiring | Temporary Senior Accountant

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Hybrid: Two days in the office/three days working remotely from home.

Compensation

Up to $60 an hour (DOE)

Employment Type: Full-Time, Temporary Assignment

Duration: Minimum of 5 months, with the possibility of extending by a few additional months.

About the Opportunity

Hoxton Circle is exclusively helping our client identify a Senior Accountant or Senior GL Accountant for a temporary position of at least five months.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and taking ownership of complex accounting responsibilities.

We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong technical accounting skills. Someone who is resourceful, collaborative, comfortable working independently, and willing to pitch in wherever needed will do particularly well in this assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate accounting discrepancies and independently resolve issues.
• Support month-end and quarterly close activities.
• Prepare supporting accounting schedules and financial reports.
• Assist with audit preparation, including supporting schedules and workpapers.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Senior Accountant or Senior GL Accountant experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and General Ledger experience.
• Experience preparing complex balance sheet reconciliations.
• Solid month-end close, financial reporting, and audit preparation experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with a large-tier ERP system.
