Sr Advanced Systems Engineer

As an Advanced Systems Engineer within Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in the design, development and implementation of cutting-edge Flight Display Systems and Avionics solutions. You will work alongside a diverse team of engineers, developers and designers to create and implement forward-thinking solutions for Anthem Flight Display Systems.

As a flagship product, the Honeywell Aerospace Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

You will report to the Sr Software Engineering Manager and work out of our Phoenix/Deer Valley site on a hybrid work schedule. Please note that the new hires are expected to work fully onsite for the first 90 days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• System design, development, integration, and implementation of core Flight Displays Systems to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications for core flight display systems, platforms, and applications
• Employ Model-based System Design methodologies and tools to create innovative solutions
• Drive Systems/Software requirements development, validation, integration, and verification, ensuring our cutting-edge systems meet the highest standards.
• Support ARINC 661 development, utilizing Scade.
• Create test cases based upon use cases derived from system and software requirements
• Stay current with advancements in avionics technologies and industry trends to inform design decisions and enhance system capabilities
• Travel: up to 10%
