Job Summary and Qualifications

The Consulting Product Analyst Clinical Imaging reports to the Lifecycle Manager and provides enterprise-level lifecycle stewardship for assigned products and clinical imaging applications by shaping the operating model, governance, and standards that keep services supportable, financially sound, and aligned to evolving business needs.

In addition to expert execution of lifecycle practices, the role advises leadership on how product responsibilities, controls, and processes should change over time, using data-driven insights from service experience, CMDB health, and customer impact.

The consultant leads strategic budgeting and financial assessment efforts, including investment prioritization, cost risk identification, and vendor and license posture, and drives consistent onboarding and offboarding frameworks that protect service continuity and security expectations.

The role influences design decisions, readiness criteria, and cross-team processes so the teams that execute work can do so predictably, transparently, and with reduced customer impact.

  • Partners with the HCA ITG ITSM product team to provide feedback and help update, modify, and design ITSM products and tools in alignment with ITIL standards. Supports operational governance and adoption, including ServiceCentral work related to CMDB health and adherence to TPA/TTP expectations.
  • Partners with the HCA ITG Identity and Access Management team to provide feedback and help update, modify, and design Information Systems Account Management (ISAM) strategy and documentation aligned with Information Protection standards. Periodically reviews and updates documentation aligned with changes to standard and/or vendor capabilities.
  • Leads complex, multi-team initiatives as a project lead by shaping scope, governance, timelines, and deliverables; drafting and presenting timeline and status materials for leadership; proactively identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks; and coordinating multiple workstreams and stakeholders to achieve outcomes and adapt plans as needs change.
  • Adds and maintains infrastructure and other CMDB assets and relationships as needed based on new technology or platform modifications. Owns and actively participates in lifecycle management of assigned applications and infrastructure to maintain accurate operational visibility.
  • Leads application decommission activities as needed, ensuring required request items (including decommission RITMs), documentation, and CMDB updates are completed, validated, and communicated to stakeholders.
  • Owns and works ITSM queues for assigned products, responding to customer issues and requests within defined SLAs and driving tickets through resolution and closure.
  • Engages directly with customers to resolve escalated issues, coordinating troubleshooting efforts, setting clear expectations, and providing timely updates through resolution.
  • Collaborates with service operations, product teams, and vendors to resolve issues, prevent recurrence, and eliminate customer-impacting technology problems.
  • Develops and delivers communications to the user base and stakeholders, including drafting and sending flash messages for incidents, events, enhancements, and changes as defined by product leadership. Uses standard ITG communication processes and tools to ensure consistent, timely messaging.
  • Analyzes customer issue trends to identify permanent fixes and automation opportunities. Actively participates with the product team in stewardship to report on operational status and drive continuous improvement.
  • Tracks development fixes and release progress and publishes timely updates to the customer base and ITG stakeholders regarding availability and resolution status.
  • Develops training and education materials for diverse user bases. Leverages the ITSM knowledge base to equip tier 1 analysts for first-call issue resolution and alert resolution across interaction types (incidents, alerts, requests), including publishing customer-facing knowledge articles when appropriate.
  • Owns and develops change validation testing and patch validation process to confirm readiness and reduce production risk.
  • Gathers and documents business, user, functional, and non-functional requirements for in-scope products, ensuring requirements are clear, complete, and usable for delivery and support teams.
  • Works with vendors to ensure compliance with HCA IT expectations, standards, and processes, escalating issues and tracking remediation as needed to protect service delivery; ensures vendor reporting compliance with SLAs, including minimum acceptable service levels.
  • Establishes and sustains cross-application integration operating expectations by coordinating internal technical partners and vendors to deliver reliable data flow, defining support and escalation pathways, and ensuring monitoring, documentation, and ownership are in place for ongoing operational support.
  • Establishes and maintains strong business relationships with customers, internal partners, and stakeholders to support product outcomes, adoption, and operational excellence.
  • Ensures HCA and vendors abide by contract commitments by monitoring obligations, addressing gaps, and escalating risks as needed to protect service quality and compliance.
  • Ensures HCA meets vendor license requirements by coordinating compliance activities, supporting usage tracking, and addressing audit, renewal, or remediation needs as appropriate.
  • Provides accurate, current data flow diagrams for applications and supporting infrastructure to support troubleshooting, governance, and change planning.
  • Establishes and governs product-level downtime, upgrade, and change scheduling processes, including intake, impact assessment, stakeholder alignment, approvals, communications, and post-downtime review.
  • Maintains vendor contacts and the support matrix necessary for ITG Operations, ensuring coverage details and escalation paths are current and understood by support partners. Support the Admin on Call with vendor escalation, cyber response, and complex issue triage and resolution.
  • Ensures proper monitoring and alerting for availability and performance. Provides and maintains triage documentation for alerts to support consistent response and reduced customer impact.
  • Provides after-hours and on-call support as required to maintain service continuity and support critical incident response. Actively lead product efforts and vendor engagement/escalation in partnership with on-call management for CRITICAL and MAJOR outages.
  • Demonstrates the ability to resolve production support issues ranging from simple through complex, applying structured troubleshooting and coordinating escalation when needed.
