Cloud Engineer

An employer is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on operating and improving multi-cloud infrastructure, with an emphasis on Google Cloud Platform and AI/LLM enabled workloads, alongside an existing AWS environment. This is a hands-on, operations-focused position that drives infrastructure automation, security, observability, and cost optimization for critical cloud workloads.

Leverage AI tools and technologies to deliver cloud solutions that enable teams to operate cloud workloads that are performance and cost optimized. Operate and secure core networking, accounts, and workload identities (IAM/SSO) in Google Cloud Platform. Enable and operationalize cloud services to support AI/ML and LLM workloads, including AWS Bedrock and Google Cloud Platform AI platforms.

Automate infrastructure end-to-end using Terraform (IaC), AWX/Ansible, and CI/CD best practices. Maintain and troubleshoot critical workloads, including EKS/Kubernetes environments, HPC clusters, and large-scale storage. What You'll Need Hands-on experience operating production workloads on Google Cloud Platform (AWS is a plus).

Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Cloud Formation, CDK, Terraform) and configuration management (Ansible/AWX). Strong knowledge of core Google Cloud Platform services (GKE, networking, Vertex AI/Gemini). Proficiency in a modern programming or scripting language for tooling and automation (e.g., Python, Go).

What's On Offer Salary Range: $97,700 - $122,100 per year.
